In Collab.codes, the goal is to connect the message, the screen, the record, the permission model, and the business action instead of treating a task as a detached note.
Task context
A useful business task should preserve:
- who requested it;
- which screen or record it relates to;
- which role is allowed to act;
- which workflow state applies;
- which agent or person should continue the work.
AI-assisted workflows
The product direction is to let LLMs help build and operate workflows that combine user steps, frontend actions, backend hooks, and agent decisions.
This should feel closer to an integrated business workflow than a separate automation canvas.
Governance
Tasks and workflows should respect permissions, approvals, and auditability.
Small businesses may use a lighter path. Larger organizations can add approval levels, ownership, and publication controls.
