Managed Platform overview

Managed Platform is the Collab.codes dimension that reduces operational work for customers.

It centralizes services such as authentication, LLM routing, cost visibility, and hosting, while preserving the ability to operate outside the Collab.codes ecosystem when needed.

What it includes

Managed Platform includes:

  • Collab Auth;
  • Collab LLM;
  • centralized costs;
  • hosting;
  • domains and environments;
  • provider configuration;
  • no-lock-in paths.

Why it exists

Companies can operate many providers by themselves.

But each provider adds credentials, pricing changes, limits, logs, failures, policies, billing, and support complexity.

Collab.codes centralizes parts of that operational work so teams can focus on building and evolving the application.

No lock-in principle

No lock-in does not mean no platform.

The customer should be able to leave. Code can live in the customer repository, and providers can be configured outside the Collab.codes ecosystem.

The platform should earn its place by reducing operational complexity, not by making exit impossible.
